Our story
We are a Christan based learning childcare center. We take pride in teaching about the story of Jesus Christ. We are a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences. Our focus lies in providing great care to your children, where they can learn and have fun, driven by a deep respect for quality and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.
Our history
Kids Clubhouse was established in 2009. This has been a family-run organization where we have always made God the center of it all. We strive to give your children the best experience possible and make it a safe and loving space for them to feel comfortable.
Schools
We transport to and from school for school-age children K - 12 years old, daily.
The schools we provide transportation to are as follows:
Unioto Elementary School and Unioto Middle School
Chillicothe Primary School and Chillicothe Intermediate School
RCCA
We pick up from Huntington School.
Meet the Kids Clubhouse Leaders
Bonnie Maughmer
President
My name is Bonnie Maughmer, and I am the founder of Play & Learn Express Child Development Center, established in 1988.
In 2009, alongside my son, Anthony,
I co-founded Kids Clubhouse Child Development Center. Both centers operate under Chillicothe Ross Child Care, Inc.,
where I currently serve as President.
I hold a degree in Child Care Administration from Ohio University–Athens.
I am a dedicated Christian who is passionate about serving children and families. Over the years, I have been actively involved in my community as a Sunday School teacher,
Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, and church youth group leader. I also served as
Director of the Ross County Tecumseh Girl Scout Unit and volunteered as a counselor
for the Ross County Crisis Center.
My husband, David, is a minister, and we
have been married for 56 years. Together,
we have been blessed with three children,
five grandchildren, and fourteen
great-grandchildren.

Pamela Bever
Administrator
My name is Pamela Bever, and I am the Administrator at Kids Clubhouse Child Care Center, where I have worked since 2018.
I hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University–Chillicothe and began my career in child care in 2007. Over the past 19 years, I have worked in several child care settings, including Ross County Head Start. My passion has always been working with children and being
their voice, advocate, and champion.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and valued, and I strive to show that love unconditionally each day.
I am married to my coworker, Mr. Mike, and together we have five sons and four wonderful grandchildren who are the light of our lives. Family, friends, and caring for children are at the center of who I am. I love God, storytelling, singing, dancing, reading,
horses, dogs and spending time with my family. My hope is to leave the world a little kinder by loving children wholeheartedly, treating others with compassion, and remembering to laugh, be silly,
and never give up on your dreams.
